Volunteering

Crossline Scotland relies on a team of well-trained volunteers whose Christian faith moves them to care for others.  They are drawn from all walks of life and Christian traditions, both male and female and of all ages – from twenty to seventy.

We are currently expanding our services in Banff, Edinburgh, Falkirk and Motherwell and need volunteers to help man our Carelines.

We are also looking for volunteers to work from home providing e-mail and other online support services for those in need.

As a Careline worker you would be on hand to help those struggling with personal, emotional or relationship problems. You would offer them the opportunity to explore their concerns and find a way forward in a confidential and supportive relationship.

New Volunteer Centres

If there is no Volunteer Centre near you why not help set one up?  A few keen individuals prepared to dedicate some of their time can make a real difference to those in need.

* All volunteers receive full training in listening and counselling skills along with ongoing support.

Making a donation

We are thrilled by the generosity of our supporters and want to thank them for what they have already enabled us to achieve.

We have great plans for the future and are in the process of developing our services to help more people than ever before.  All of this depends on regular funding.

Please make a donation now - it really makes a difference to someone’s life.
